President for a Day

Two years ago, Rabia Sajun did it. Last year, David Mayer did it. Do you think you have what it takes to be President of York University? If so, then now is your chance to enter our third annual “President for a Day” contest.

For those of you not familiar with this contest, on March 19, 2014, I will swap roles with an undergraduate student. I will experience life as that student, and the winner will take on the role of “President” for a day.

To apply, undergraduate students only must submit a resume and a 500-word written or video essay on the topic, “If you were appointed President of York University, what would be your top three priorities that would directly impact students?

The contest, which officially launches on January 23, 2014, closes at 11:59 p.m. EST on February 24th, 2014, with the winner being announced on March 10, 2014.
